    Default Trackball+Ergodex FTW

I just started 2-boxing with a Nostromo N52 at my left hand, G15 center and an Ergodex DX1 at my right hand. The Ergodex controls Box2 but I have it on an Iogear USB switcher so I can use it on Box1 if desired. I use Multiplicity for switching the trackball, G15 and N52. I use Multibox for broadcasting but right now only for beginning combat and silly things like emotes and jumping.

Now that's innovative. How long have you used trackballs and what is your gaming experience with it? Got a few spares I've been considering doing something with

I've been gaming with the Logitech trackball for years. This style of trackball is very well suited for gaming in my opinion. I bought the more expensive Kensington trackball but it's too big and requires several fingers dedicated to the ball. The thumb controlled ball makes kiting a lot easier. I'm mainly a solo player and spend minimal time in the chat window so with this setup I don't have to move my hands much at all.

I only use trackballs, never mice. Always wanted more function keys on the trackball this looks like a winnar!

How far do those keys have to be from the pad... wonder if you could mount them on the trackball?

The keys have to be attached to the pad in the active zone. The broadcast range is minimal. There is a note to that effect on the Ergodex forum.

That looks like it would work out great. I could never use trackballs myself, I just don't like the feel. But that setup there if it works for you looks like it would be very handy!

The Ergodex really is a nice piece of equipment. It works quite well for me but I must point out that I am only two-boxing and doing that just for grins. I've been a solo player for over two years and now I get to uh, uh play with myself. I'm quite dependable, don't whine a lot, never ninja and always show up in game when needed.

Yesterday two of my lvl 15s were doing Supplies for the Crossroads and got into such a mess due to my over confidence. For a minute I actually thought I would survive but finally had to sit back and laugh as they died while a half dozen mobs swarmed all over them. I just went totally spaz with my buttons and gave up. Shirley, you guyz have much better control and coordination, amirite?
