I am not sure what the hell that forum was taking about, I am guessing you might of just misinterpreted it.
With over clocking there is no way to "overclock" to a higher ammount of memory. Over clocking normally is rasing the Front side bus speed on your memory. When you make your memory speed higher frequency its able to transfer data faster.
This comes at a great risk and i suggest you do not do this Incorrect overclocking can fry computer components. it can also cause very fusterating crashes and game hang ups. Also there is no way of increasing the ammount of memory you have by overclocking. just the sped at which it transfers data which really wouldnt help you for dual boxing.
I dont suggest getting the memory. If you must buy the memory and buy the 64 bit verion of windows vista. You'll have to wait until MS releases service back to (maybe) before you can enjoy the full ammount of memory you have though.
Yeh right thats dangerous to overclock
So, I've got my 2gb of ram today (total of 4gb now). Windows XP "sees" 2.9 gb ram. Even tho it is only +0.9 my 5 WoW clients run much better in capital cities where before I was dying in lag.
Anyways, is it possible to install 2nd OS without formating my disc? If it is I am gonna think what will it be: XP professional or Vista (thinking about buying license version of vista, anyways we all probably will have to install it someday in case of using DX10 features and stuff)
