Default PiP Causing an odd screen lockup

I've been having an intermittant issue with moving screens around, and I've been wondering if anyone else is seeing this. I'm not sure if it's my computer or something with how keyclone is moving stuff around.

    My setup:
    nvidia 7800gtz 175.something drivers
    keyclone 1.8i
2 24" 1920x1200 monitors in horizontal span mode, so 3840x1200 resolution
All of my commands have designated resolution of 960x600
left monitor 1920x1200 size, right monitor is split into 4 pieces of 960x600
If I never try to swap windows, it works fine, at least until wow crashes from some kind of memory leak related to running 5 copies.
However, when I tell it to swap windows, I get a very odd behaviour. For example, if I swap the left window with one of the right windows, the swap will occur, but graphics display on the large monitor will lock up. The game will be working in the background, but nothing is changing on the screen. I know it's working because it's the character still acts if controlled from one of the other windows, and the sound functions. I am able to resolve the problem by minimizing both of the copies of wow that were swapped. If more than 2 windows are modified, all of them have to be minimized, and then re-opened. This doesn't happen all of the time, but it does happen most of the time.

pip swap performance can be effected by your cpu, how much memory you have, the resolution of the areas you are trying to swap (total number of pixels), and the number of surfaces wow has to re-render into the new sizes (that's a guess).

for instance, if i'm in the barrens... in 1280x1024 mode.. i'll swap veyr quickly compared to the same screen res.. but in the middle of orgrimmar.

basically... the moving of the windows is keyclone... all the overhead involved with resizing wow, is internal to wow

    i hope that makes sense.

So basically PiP is useless at my resolution levels because wow can't handle it.

It's not a ram or cpu issue, I'm running with 4gigs of ram and a dual core 3ghz

2 cores @ 3 ghz each for 4 or 5 wows.. is like 1 core @ 1.5ghz (a little less)... and then it has to render the elements of the scene for the new size

i found my biggest performance gains from memory and an improved graphics board (i'm using an nvidia 8800GT OC)
