Default Keyclone Maximizer issue *updated 5/16*

I have been looking around for an answer my problem, but have not been able to find it. Yesterday, I set up maximizer to open 2 WoWs on 1 display and everything worked fine. Today, I hooked up a 2nd monitor and changed the settings accordingly. When Keyclone opens wow1 and wow 2, they open on the same screen, windowed with title bars showing. I am really not sure what is going wrong. I deleted and recreated all of the commands and maximizer settings, and it did not work.

I want wow 1 to be on my main display (22" wide) and wow2 to be on my secondary display (17" normal flat panel)

Anyone had this issue or know what the fix is???

Bah! I just remembered how to fix this.

(For those with the same problem)

On the main Keycone window that lists the wow windows you have open, right click each of the options, select maximize, then specify the region you want that window to go to.

Thats all it took. Sorry for spamming up the help forums. :whistling:

(Keeping this in the same thread.)

When opening Keyclone, I am having to right click my 2 wow clients and select "Maximize" every time. Is it supposed to work this way, or should it be automated and work without intervention?

go into your wow settings in game and click the window mode and maximize close so it saves then relaunch.

    That did not work.

My current settings are windowed mode but not maximized. I tried changing them around and then relogging and it did not work.

Howdy Flash... sorry i didn't see this sooner.

    try these:
    1. make sure you have 'enable maximizer' checked
    2. in the commands, make sure you selected wow.exe and not launcher.exe
    3. if you are on vista, make sure to run-as administrator (adjust the short cut properties / advanced to 'always run-as admin'

let me know if that helps.

None of this worked, in fact my settings matched what you said. Weird!

ok.. now we are at the 2nd level.

    UNCHECK keyclone/setup/general/auto-add-windows-titled

then run your commands. do they get added to the keyclone list?

my guess... they will not. the reason? there is some other program launching your wows or somehow encapsulating the exe

try right-clicking wow.exe and checking the properties.
    check the compatibility tab..
    1. make sure 'turn off advanced text services' is UNCHECKED
    2. are any compatibility mode settings checked?

let me know if any of this helps.

That selection was not checked, so my commands brought up the windows and they are added to the list(but without the maximizer settings).

Nothing was checked on either or the WoW.exe's
