Keyclone Upgrade Question

I noticed that a newer version of Keyclone was released and just wanted to know if I lose my current settings when I upgrade it.

If do, is their a particular file i can backup and paste in the newer install to retain my settings?

It should keep the same setting, just make a copy of the Keyclone.ini file

G'evening Salty and welcome to the forums!

all your settings are held within the keyclone.ini file (excluding keymaps or maximizer exports)...

no release comes with keyclone.ini... therefore, it will never overrun your settings.

to update your local copy, make sure keyclone is not running.. download the new version and install normally. when you restart your keyclone, you'll be on the new version.

What do you mean by "Maximizer Exports"? I do have a Maximizer thing all set up, so will it effect (affect? I can never keep those two straight :P ) that?

as of v1.8i, you can export your maximizer layout. this would classify as a setting... but it is not utilized until you import it.
