    Default Rebuffing

hey i am power auras on my alts so i can see when they are missing lightning shield (dont have water yet) its really handy as i know who hasnt got the buff and who has, what i wanted to know .. is there a macro command that will check if the shield is active? then if it is not active cast lightning shield and not on my alts that have the buff as to save mana etc?

Macros can't make decisions for you. Otherwise that'd be automation which our WoW giving overlords decided was a no-no.

SmartBuff (links to Curse gaming) is your indispensible friend!

    I use TwoBox:

It tells me when characters have buffs fading away.

when you get water shield is awsome to rebuff because its mana cost is 0. So whenever ive killed a group of mobs i just hit 4 and rebuff it even if only 1 globe has blows on 1 char. its a good habit to get into. i hardly ever buff lightning shield, the regen on water is much more useful than that tiny bit of dps that lightning gives you.

And add this to your "Big Button" macro:

    Code:
    /click [nocombat] SmartBuff_KeyButton
    Never worry about rebuffing again!

You could also use Xperl on your main so u can see the Buffs permanently on your alts. I'm Using it too, cause Pitbull is too customizable in my opinion and I have too check in future again.

    Xperl Unitframes

Now THAT is a great idea. I'm going to add that to my "follow" macro!

At the moment, I find myself unconsciously mashing CTRL+SHIFT+F (my SmartBuff hotkey) all over the place, even on my bank alts.....

thanks for the replys i agree with ya opt mana shield is all i will use once i get it but for now all i have is LS which is poo!

i am giving twobox toolkit a go but not sure if im too keen on it power auras is great because i can set a big blue shield to appear on each alt when their shield is down and i use pitbull i love how customisable it is! great idea about the BIG button too that has been implemented

    thx again
