What you do (or atleast what I have done) is assigning modified keys to your x-keys. The manual tells you how to do this.
Example:
Row1: Bind it to alt+F1,alt+F2,alt+F3,(not alt + F4 this will make your wow quit),alt+F5 etc
Row2: Alt+1,alt+2,alt+3 etc
Do the same for all rows with alt+ all the characters. When all this is done you are ready to set your keybindings in your game.
Just select the keybind you want to change, and hit the x-key you want to bind to it. Then you will see alt+<whatever key> will be assigned to this hotkey. This will give you a completly new set of keys.
Just remember if you are making macros with modifiers, avoid the alt modifier.(or any other modifier you used for your x-keys)
