from what I have read they fixed one boosting method that allowed very fast 1 char boost from 8-40 in about 8 hours.
Sorry not sound like a noob but what method was that? Im asking cause I was thinking of boosting a toon here in the not too distant future.
If I have it right... prot paladin would round up the mobs in an instanced zone while not doing any damage to them, then bring them to the entrance where a mage and the lowbie were waiting. Mage would drop from the group and start to AE, the paladin would zone out. Mage kills the mobs, lowbie gets normal solo experience because he is "alone" in the instance. I might have missed a step somewhere, but that's the gist of it.

As for my group, they are level 56 and a half, with around... 5 days and change played. I haven't been speed leveling them. I run with my enhance shaman, who can't really AE effectively, and my pace is pretty slow, plus I loot and skin as much as I can. I also leveled up tradeskills on the alts. I believe that the guy who leveled a paladin 1-60 in 1 day and 20 hours did so following around a level 70 DPS warrior who just mowed through instanced zones. They didn't use the exploit, just plowed through zones (warrior killing, paladin looting and tossing the occasional heal).

I assume a prot paladin could boost a lowbie to 60 pretty fast since they can AE down very large groups. That might be my next project, once my paladin is 70. Use him to boost another group by AE grinding.
