Default Interesting article on How the RIAA Catches Music Pirates

Check it out, a bit of information on how the RIAA tracks down pirates.

Scary how tenuous the process is, although I highly doubt it is as unsophisticated as it's described in the article. The nature of the internet makes concrete surveillance impossible, and RIAA makes little to no effort to substantiate it's claims. I don't pirate music, because I'm no more interested in music than listening to it on the radio, but takedown notices and especially "prelitigation settlement letters" just come across as bullying to me.

I don't mean to advertise, but I thought I'd mention Grooveshark.com If I ever get around to creating any videos from my adventures, the music included will most likely be from Grooveshark. I have a good friend who's been involved in its creation from day one. In my opinion, iTunes has got nothing on them.
