Did you replace "Char1name" by the name of the unit that you're trying to follow?

I'm really feeling retarded here, lol. I can not find where i'm going wrong, and its driving me loopy.

Being that the character I want followed is named Aarrinah, I did the following macro...

    /follow [target=Aarrinah, nodead]

When used it just gives me the "unknown unit" error.. if I just type "/follow Aarrinah" it works. I want to use this as part of my macro setup to change mains being followed when the lead dies.

I just tried several variations and had no luck as well using the macro type you were trying to do. I'm not sure you can put that type of stuff in a /follow line, I've always had to

    /targetexact [nodead] Char1Name

    /follow

I've noticed a similar problem when my chars are not in a group. It seems a bit silly, but for me having the chars grouped fixes the problem. Are your chars grouped when you get this error?
