Default The ultimate 3-button totem quad-box macro set?

FINAL version! (Sorry about this, I further tweaked them. :P Also made it wiki prepared? xD)

    Button 1:

    Non modified= PvP set
Mod:shift= PvE set with tank as fifth

    Code:
    toon1:
    /castsequence [nomod] reset=12 Tremor Totem,Grounding Totem,Healing Stream Totem,Searing Totem
    /castsequence [mod:shift] reset=12 Tremor Totem,Grace of Air Totem,Mana Spring Totem,Searing Totem

    toon2:
    /castsequence [nomod] reset=12 Grounding Totem,Tremor Totem,Healing Stream Totem,Searing Totem
    /castsequence [mod:shift] reset=12 Stoneskin Totem,Wrath of Air Totem,Healing Stream Totem,Searing Totem

    toon3:
    /castsequence [nomod]reset=12 Grounding Totem,Healing Stream Totem, Tremor Totem,Searing Totem
    /castsequence [mod:shift] reset=12 Strength of Earth Totem,Windfury Totem,Healing Stream Totem,Searing Totem

    toon4:
    /castsequence [nomod] reset=12 Grounding Totem,Earthbind Totem,Healing Stream Totem,Searing Totem
    /castsequence [mod:shift] reset=12 Earthbind Totem,Grounding Totem,Healing Stream Totem,Searing Totem
    Button 2:

non modified= Reapply grounding totems x4
mod:shift= Reapply 3x grounding and 1x Wrath of Air
mod:ctrl as well as mod:alt= To be used after you put down your pve or pvp set, to have one character chuck one poison(ctrl)/disease(alt) cleansing. When pressed twice, another character will also put down poison(ctrl)/disease(alt) cleansing at a slight interval. If you press it three times (only for ctrl), the poison cleansing totems will be removed and swapped for one fire resistance and one healing stream totem. The last option I added as I have a use for it, but if you don't feel the neccesity for fire resistance you can remove this part.

    Code:
    toon1:
    /cast [nomod] Grounding Totem
/cast [mod:shift] Wrath of Air Totem
    /castsequence [mod:ctrl] reset=12 Poison Cleansing Totem,,Fire Resistance Totem
    /castsequence [mod:alt] reset=12 Disease Cleansing Totem,

    toon2
    /cast [nomod][mod:shift] Grounding Totem
    /castsequence [mod:ctrl] reset=12 ,Poison Cleansing Totem,Healing Stream Totem
    /castsequence [mod:alt] reset=12 ,Disease Cleansing Totem

    toon 3 & 4:
    /cast [nomod][mod:shift] Grounding Totem
Button 2: WITHOUT the fire resistance option, it would look like this:
    Code:
    toon1:
    /cast [nomod] Grounding Totem
/cast [mod:shift] Wrath of Air Totem
    /castsequence [mod:ctrl] reset=12 Poison Cleansing Totem,
    /castsequence [mod:alt] reset=12 Disease Cleansing Totem,

    toon2
    /cast [nomod][mod:shift] Grounding Totem
    /castsequence [mod:ctrl] reset=12 ,Poison Cleansing Totem
    /castsequence [mod:alt] reset=12 ,Disease Cleansing Totem

    toon 3 & 4:
    /cast [nomod][mod:shift] Grounding Totem
    Button 3:

    Code:
    toon 1,2,3 & 4:
    /cast [nomod] Fire Nova Totem
    /castsequence [mod:shift] reset=12 Stoneclaw Totem,Fire Nova Totem
    /cast [mod:ctrl] Magma Totem
    /cast [mod:alt] Totem of Wrath
If you want four complete castsequences on one button (Like the button #1 up there, I only have one extra modifier on it so it works in one macro.) with modifiers shift, ctrl and alt. Then you would exceed the 255 character limit, this is how you can get around it.
Set 4 bar slots as follows:

    Barslot 1: assign key F5
    Barslot 2: assign key alt+F5
    Barslot 3: assign key ctrl+F5
    Barslot 4: assign key shift+F5

    This macro in barslot 1:
    /castsequence [nomod] reset=12 <Earth Totem>,<Water Totem>,<Fire Totem>,<Air Totem>
    Barslot 2:
    /castsequence reset=12 <Earth Totem>,<Water Totem>,<Fire Totem>,<Air Totem>
    Barslot 3:
    /castsequence reset=12 <Earth Totem>,<Water Totem>,<Fire Totem>,<Air Totem>
    Barslot 4:
    /castsequence reset=12 <Earth Totem>,<Water Totem>,<Fire Totem>,<Air Totem>

With this method, I have to make all castsequence without a modifier and only a [nomod] in the non modified one. So shift+alt+ctrl all have to be seperate macro's and seperately bound on a bar. Otherwise, it won't work. ;( So requires more setting up, but works the same if you reach over the char limit. If you use seperate barmods with seperate keybindings, make sure you have the key fully unbound in the normal set of keybinds. An easy way to reset a key is to go to keybinds, click a random standard wow keybind and assign it to F5, then shift+F5, then alt+F5 and then ctrl+F5 and then unbind the key again. After that assign the designated key and modifiers to the seperate barmod. (Such as CTbarmod, should you use this.).

Then you still have one key on your keyboard with 3 extra modifiers containing full castsequence macro's, without breaking the character limit.

Great minds think alike ^^ I was working on my totem set-up yesterday too.

Initially I was thinking about exactly the same thing as you one button for setting down all totems in a cast sequence and then an individual one for fire and grounding reapplication.

I stumbled on a few problems tho. (I'll be posting my totem setup once I get back to my PC)

There were a few things I realised I wanted for my totems.

    A) PvP setup for 5 shammies
    B) PvE setup for 5 shammies
    C) PvE setup for 4 shammies and my Pally
    D) PvE Raid setup for 5 ele shammies
    E) PvE Raid setup for 1 ele shammy in a caster group (melee would have an ehn)

    F) Tremor totem on rotation (round robin) for instant fear protection
    G) Choice of fire totems
    H) Grounding totem reapplication

As you can see my list was quite demanding and I'll post my set-up when I get a chance to

Can I post this on the wiki pages?

    Ofcourse.

I just updated the first post and removed the previous ones, posted the final version and added two or three extra tweaks to them. I can't think of anything else to better them right now and added any information people would need regarding to customizing this set to their exact needs.

Feel free to post on wiki!

Can do these macros....or get Totem Timer addon. It has a one key spam that does pretty much the same thing and can be changed on the fly. Set each toon to different totems, spam one key (just like the macros here).

Did some more work on the Button 2. In case you want to have access to poison and disease cleansing on all your chars. (I only really see the use for this if you are in a raiding scenario and across four parties while needing to partycleanse. Really, in all other situations where you are all in the same party, one, or two at most, will do the trick tho. )

Still, if you want to have access to those totems on all chars, this is what you do.

    Code:
    toon1:
    /cast [nomod] Grounding Totem
/cast [mod:shift] Wrath of Air Totem
    /castsequence [mod:ctrl] reset=12 Poison Cleansing Totem,,,
    /castsequence [mod:alt] reset=12 Disease Cleansing Totem,,,

    toon2
    /cast [nomod][mod:shift] Grounding Totem
    /castsequence [mod:ctrl] reset=12 ,Poison Cleansing Totem,,
    /castsequence [mod:alt] reset=12 ,Disease Cleansing Totem,,

    toon 3:
    /cast [nomod][mod:shift] Grounding Totem
    /castsequence [mod:ctrl] reset=12 ,,Poison Cleansing Totem,
    /castsequence [mod:alt] reset=12 ,,Disease Cleansing Totem,

    toon 4:
    /cast [nomod][mod:shift] Grounding Totem
    /castsequence [mod:ctrl] reset=12 ,,,Poison Cleansing Totem
    /castsequence [mod:alt] reset=12 ,,,Disease Cleansing Totem

Also, does totem timer include castsequences like this? Oo I already got my totems set up so have little reason to look into it. Just seems that making macro's this way allows you to be far more customizable.
