PvE or PvP? Which did you choose?

I'd like to hear your individual reasons for going either PvE or PvP in your realm choice.

With roots in EQ, I'm personally more of a PvE type but have enjoyed some PvP in the past (Shadow Bane and WoW). Part of me enjoys a fight from time to time but for the most part I am more of a quester and don't much care for being jumped.

So what was your choice?

PVP Servers just gets the juices flowing, personally it just
makes my time playing that much more enjoyable, knowing that at any moment I
could get jumped.

PVP.

Reason, i don't enjoy PVE, I enjoy PVP. Leveling would be boring without having to watch all arround for Red names.

PvE, because I don't have time to beat every moron, jack ass, and idiot in to the ground becuase "red is dead" is the limit of their thought process.

I've tried the flavor of the month (pally and 4x shammy's) but was reconsidering replacing the shammy's with 4 shadow priests (undead) which if im not wrong can help deal with fear bombing which imo would be hell for a 5 boxer. The shammys are far more durable and the synergy of the totems is good but WotF is awesome for pvp.

Anyone have advice on 4 shadows running with a pally on a pvp server?

I lol'ed at this, not sure which of the 3 insults best fits me, but i guess any will do.

Not everyone plays to kill computer controlled monsters. There are PVE servers for those who feel as you do. I chose to roll on a PVP server, & so did those that I kill. I feel that i am doing the ally the same favor that I would want returned to me:

I went PvP for many reasons. Which I will list for you :P

I just got burned out on my Warlock in Sunwell.
I've wanted to roll another shaman for a long while (was my first class, on an account that I lost )
Ellay is so damn sexy.
I enjoy PvP very much, but both my warlock and priest are full S3 and maxed so I only really log on them for the weekend games, and thats it.
I like to beat other people, in what ever game or aspect of life, I am very competitive.
Plus as much as it is nice to copy something so great as ellay, I also think that if you really stop and think about it, (s)he? picked the best class for a starter multiboxer, plus shamans are the one class that stacks best with it's self. Not to mention they are great for pvp and pve. Plus they can heal and DPS.... you can't get a better class. And pvp with shamans is just so full of win...
