Keyclone stops responding

Hi there - have been using Keyclone for awhile, but after the last couple updates, I've been having a problem.

my setup - 1 WinXP machine (Main), 1 Vista32 (2nd, 3rd). I have the keyclone on the WinXP machine set to broadcast only. things run fine for awhile. sometimes a long while. other times, keyclone on the Vista machine stops responding. if i try to use the UI in keyclone at all, it will be locked up completely (ie, clicking "Setup" doesn't open any dialog). the keyclone on the WinXP machine is fine. using taskmgr, i close the keyclone process on the Vista machine, restart, reconnect to the WinXP machine, and i'm running again. sometimes it will last for hours after i reconnect, other times no more than 30secs will pass and keyclone will lockup again.

any thoughts? i love keyclone, and have bought several copies. i'll prolly just deal with the lockups, but would be nice if anyone had ideas on how to fix it.

I've been having the same problem now that i've set it up on 5 systems. for some reason one will always drop but the other 4 will remain connected leaving me with 1 clone that won't respond to anything. Not sure if there is a limite to the # of keyclones that can be chained together but i'm sure its some kinda of bug... Currently using 1.8h on all 5 machines. going to try 1.8i a bit later tonight see if that fixed things up.

Still getting the problem with v1.8i where 1 copy of keyclone will get booted out of the group for some reason. happens sometimes as soon as i log in so 15-30 sec in, or can take several hours. restarting the affected computer will get it working again, but causes another copy to get disconnected. i've also noted that the port numbers increase by 1 each time i restart keyclone on that machine, but they reset to the correct 1322 when i reboot the machine affected. i'll keep things up to date as i find out more about the problem.

if the port number increases.. that is because you had another keyclone running at the same time blocking the port.

make sure keyclone is not running and reset the port to 1320

that does not happen to me as i only run 1 keyclone and 5 wow's on 1 pc, so not to sure whats going on with that but if I notice anything strange I will let you know asap.

I did have problems with 1 of my keyclones locking up on an older computer, it almost always locked up first time I ran it. But after I turned of the overlay reminder it never locked up again. I never seen it happen on any of the other 4 systems I been using ever, but always on that one until I turned off overlay reminder.

And I don't have that computer now so I can't test if it still locks up.

I have to add I have been using the same graphics card on the replacement system, and that worked perfect also.

Just to add my voice to this as well - as I mentioned in another thread, I have the exact same issue - Keyclone often (maybe once an hour or so, though it often goes a whole day without any problem) locks up for me. Sometimes the UI closes but KC remains running, sometimes the whole thing hangs, but either way I need to kill it with the task manager.
