Hi,
I have been multi-boxing for a little over 2 months, in fact it was three-instancing since I only used one computer and Keyclone (Awesome soft there I have to say) and randomly the modifiers key wouldn't be transmitted to one of the clones. Not the end of the world.
I just received my new computer and changed my toons' set up to 1 on my old comp (1 proc 1 core) and 2 on the new one with on each of it's core (1 proc 2 cores, I really recommend this for those like me who have limited budget, it costs a lot less and the perf is here). I launch Keyclone, all the toons, synch the Keyclones and ... modifier keys never make it to the other pc (in WoW at least).
I know it has been posted before, I post now to present a (very) simple and effective way to still be able to use "/*function*" with your toons :
Go into the key settings of all toons (even the main) and find the "use /" (I'm really sorry, I'm French and use a French client so you'll have to look for this one) now assign it to what ever key you want that doesn't require shift to be pressed, I use ":" but there again my keyboard is AZERTY :P.
When your done, hit the key and all toons should begin a chat line with "/" and you can type "lick". Just an example thought.
I don't know if I've been clear enough with this post; do not hesitate to reply for clarifications. It really helped me bypass this (little) crack in Keyclone's wonderful software that makes multi-bowing so easy :thumbup:.
