thanks I didnt know I can type in my own res. I thought the drop down was the only options.

Im using 1.8f atm, and its working very nice, worth upgrading ?

personally.. i have found 1.8i to be very stable working better then other releases.
obviously, some people would disagree

i've tried to understand the problems... and i think most of it stems from the change in how certain things work (dnp and maximizer)

you could always rename / make a copy of v1.8f .. and then install v1.8i to test it... you can always copy/rename the v1.8f version back to revert

I've been using 1.8i in the last couple of days and have to admit I still suffer from those occasional lockups on my main machine.
I find it really hard to nail the problem down since the lockups happen more or less randomly but they exist.

It feels like the programm goes into a sort of loop and doesn't recover. The process via the taskmanger look fine, keyclone is still responding and the memory usuage doesn't go up either but I need to kill the process on my main and my clones and then restart it.

My best guess would be some excessive use of override due to having chats with all sorts of people and switching to and fro but as I said it's just a guess.

I've never had these problems before and I wish I could be of more help but I just thought I mention that.

check your dnp list. to get the same functionality as before, you want to CHECK the 'strict' option

Turned on "strict" and that seems to have fixed it for me, thanks!

as for port numbers.. they only increment if you have another keyclone running. i'll check for that, but i haven't seen such functionality tonight (spent many hours play-testing)

That's probably what happened, I was killing the app via task manager to try and get it connected again and I probably restarted it too fast.

Also, I got a run-away last night so it would seem that bug is still lurking about.

it's not really a bug... but a function of how the DNP works. the solution would be to UNCHECK strict. this does limit the number of keys you have, by stopping all modified keys specified in the DNP... but you won't get run-aways

I ran into this too. I didn't change anything other than upgrading to the new version.

I made a copy of my old version, renamed the folder and installed the new version, and it fixed it for me.

On a side note, wasn't there a WoW patch/update released around the same time as version i ? I've been sleep deprived so I could be wrong.
