G'morning Emo,

yes... STRICT is the option that is probably causing the difference. prior to v1.8h, if you put W on the list, shift+W would pass through. this lead to the run-aways as people would hold down shift, then W... making all clones walk forward. but they would let up the shift ... THEN let up W.. which only the shift would be sent to the clones, not the shift+W up... and due to how Bliz does its movement algorithms... produced the 'run-away'

strictly speaking, the DNP worked as specified... STRICTly speaking. but most people don't get that or would forget in the heat of battle, and would fat finger a combo at some point and get wiped due to a run-away.

now, if you leave STRICT unchecked, you get the 'new' functionality.... which is... if W is on the list, then ANY form of W will be blocked. therefore, no runaways.

i have considered a sub DNP list... one strict and one general... but that would add another list to a confusing mix, so we'll see how it goes for now. the new functionality is currently the default... insuring no run-aways. more advanced users that understand the issue can just CHECK the strict option and they will go back to the way it was before.

i hope that makes sense. i'd love to hear thoughts on the issue, as many people hated the run-aways...

oh, and i will be putting out an official v1.8i today... watch for it and please update when you get a chance
