Default ahh noob question.. making guilds

How do you all make your own guilds? Do you ask in general for people to sign your charters?

I find it easier to have a bunch of gold handy (if you can manage that, it depends on your situation) and just run around the noob zone. The more characters you play, the better. 5-Boxers have five signatures already on the app. You just need a few more sigs and you're good to go. The trick, at least the trick I use, is to offer a TON of gold to noob characters for sigs and let them know what's going on. They know to /gquit when the guild gets going and they get their gold. It's a pretty easy thing to do, really. Most people know the value of getting a few gold right off the bat, especially since at this point, people in the noob zones are rerolling from another server and would really love your gold. The best way to do this is just get five people that will do it quickly so they are in and out really soon. Less trouble for them, anyway.

That's the way I did it. If anyone knows a better way, please inform the rest of us - I'm considering changing the name of my boxer's guild which means I actually need to start a new guild.

If I'm feeling desperate, I'll even put up more if it looks like the people I'm dealing with want to stay on the server and actually level - that way, they can't afford not to sign.

EDIT: Added 'If' since I'm not feeling desperate right at the moment.

I have done the exact thing as Basilkos described. I started mine however a long time ago with intention of making real guild but I found being a leader and having to put up with so many people's issue just tedious and taxing. I put my characters on that server on idle and let the people just quit over time and kicked the remaining two people out. But yes, I started my guild by offering 5 gold per signature and I collected 9 signatures. It was expensive, because the noob members would ask for more gold.

To me its worth doing because the giuld bank alone is great for stroring items and mats to service all your characters needs and more so when you have more than one account. From time to time you have to put up with a person asking to join the guild and I simply just tell them that the guild is private where all members belong to me. Of course that sometimes opens up a new can of worms, espically with little kids who do not grasp concepts as quickly as you would like them to.
