Default A Suggestion - Increased Signature Length

I recently hit the signature length maximum for my own signature trying to include details on both my 5-box teams.

One of the things I find very interesting about peoples posts is their status on their teams, and it's quite fun to see these slowly (or quickly) change over time.

So, my suggestion - if the forum-masters here can, is to bump up the signature length a bit to allow more posters to include more information on the teams they're levelling / running with.
...for when one toon just isn't enough...

    Horde Caelestrasz Multiboxer:
Team1: 5xPaladin....Level 80 - Heroic gearing completed. WTB [Frost Badge] pst pls.
    Team2: 1xPaladin/4xShaman....Level 80 - On Hiatus, Awaiting Cata.

Contact on: Nevergonna on Realm Caelestrasz (Horde)

Caelestrasz Horde: 5 Active 5 Boxers and counting.

You can't even include armory links for 2 teams. The char limit includes tag chars apparently. Boo!

You can shrink your links using tinyurl or similar. Some people will be reluctant to click on them if you do but I doubt many people are going to be spending too much time following links to our armories anyway.

We don't need signatures that are longer than the average post size.

I tuned off signatures long ago, so this doesn't really affect me, but I'll put my tuppence worth in...

Signatures are already WAY out of control. If people want to share armory links (or, God forbid, graphical sigs!) for all five characters in their twenty seven different team, they should create a blog or even just a progress thread (which is a great, simple idea by the way - kudos to the likes of Tdog for starting that format) and let people click through to that.

The very last thing we need is longer sigs!

Ooh, I might consider doing that!

My sig is a lil bit graphical, but not screamy I think. :P

Maybe add a 'dairy' or 'blog' forum in the show offs section?

    I couldn't comment because I haven't seen it

Progress threads are a great idea for people who don't want to dip their toes into the murky waters of blog creation though - I love reading that stuff.

Guys, why not use your user pages in the wiki?

if you have registered for the wiki, your user page can be accessed through the wiki link [[user:<username]] e.g. [[user:Djarid]] (if you link it in a wiki page you might want to relabel the link e.g. [[user:Djarid|Djarid]]. you can link to it in the forums through http://www.dual-boxing.com/wiki/index.php/User:Djarid

NOTE: wiki links are case sensitive

user pages can have sub pages and I have been toying with some javascript to extract a signature from a user subpage called sig which is accessed by preceding it with a / e.g. [[user:Djarid/sig|Djarid's signature]] or http://www.dual-boxing.com/wiki/inde...ser:Djarid/sig

We are working on lots of features at the moment for the forums.

We can not go into greater detail on what we have planned, but rest assured these issues will be addressed.
