Boubouille[/url][/b][/i]. He refers to multiboxing as "multiplexing" and explains that - "the user will press Thunderbolt rank X on the emitter (First character chosen) soon after the 4 other characters will cast the same spell." Someone should tell him that it splits a keypress that is bound to a spellcast macro, it doesn't split the spellcast macro himself. Misleading, but not malicious, so I'll let it slide.
I think you misunderstand. Boubouille is the admin of the MMO-Champion site. He was linking to the post created by that whiner on the EuroWoW forums, and included the reply from a blue, that it's okay to do so. He then linked a video on how to record your multiboxing sessions on a dual monitor system (the video ends by displaying a link to dual-boxing.com). He doesn't seem to be condemning multiboxing or promoting it, and the portions he quoted make the anti-MBer look pretty foolish.

It seems to me that most of the time when people go outside of the WoW forums to complain about multiboxing, they find quite a few people who are MBers, or who support it, or who just want the whiners to shut the hell up. And that's a good thing.

you know i didn't see anything wrong with his post.

Multiplexing IS a valid word describing what multiboxers do. You are multiplexing your keyboard commands to multiple sources, via either hardware multiplexing or software multiplexing.

I didn't see anything in that post suggesting multiboxers are botting. Can someone point me to what's so ill natured that everyone else is noticing?

Please note this thread's OP stated it wasn't necessarily a bad post BY mmo, just that it was publicity of sorts; and 2 posts above me explains why; "misleading, but not malicious"

I'm not misunderstood at all, I'm familiar with Boubouille and know he's the admin of the site. If you read the text that he wrote, he does seem in general to have the vocabulary and specifics of multiboxing pretty confused. Nowhere in my post did I mention Boubouille made any statements containing a negative connotation, just that he's not terribly well-informed. That's not a surprise, because I doubt he would want to present a biased point of view, which would be counterproductive for mmo-champion.

I think I gained a full level grinding those damn turtles. They obviously all have the shell-thingy. But does it drop when you kill it? Noooooo......

Uhh... its because it breaks? Yeah, thats the ticket.... because it breaks. You're beating on the turtle right? I dunno. That's the only excuse I've been able to come up with aside from that Blizzard wants you to spend more time grinding so that you keep playing.

    Just one more level...
Explain to me why then so few bears near Tarren Mills have tongues. For that matter, the really shocking revelation that very few Mountain Lions around the same area have Blood!?!?! Blood I tells ya. How can I kill this poor old starving lion and NOT get ANY blood???????? /lol

The best part about the multiple threads is watching Blizzard reps constantly reiterating the company stance- they have no problem with it, it's not cheating, it's not a ToS violation, it's perfectly legit, etc etc. Over and over again the end result of these topics is that Blue posters reply in order to remind people that Blizzard has no intention of forbidding multiboxing. If any of them think that the constant complaints are going to wear Blizzard down, they should be aware that it's having the opposite effect.

I worry sometimes that perhaps they may very well wear Blizzard down. It wouldn't be the first time that Blizzard has caved to forum QQ'ers pressure. It would definitely be the last time I'd play WoW, as multiboxing has re-ignited my interest in this game like never before since Beta.
