I've said it before and I'll say it again: People are stupid. Plain and simple. Just like the retarded pussies in TF2 who're afraid to stand near the Goldrush cart or on any control point cuz they're afraid to die(and end up losing because they died anyways without stopping the capture to boot, whereas I rush in kamikaze-like and 9 times out of 10 win the game singlehandedly because of it) or other times simply content to sit back on Offense and pick off defenders rather than rushing or pushing up every time I give the fuckers an opening by singlehandedly destroying every SG in sight and backstabbing the demo with the sticky trap laid, removing all obstacles and gave them chat warning twice in mostly all caps. [/rant]*cough* yeah I played on a pug tf2 server last night since my regular server hadn't updated post-patch and I couldn't play on it lol

Same general fear everywhere else...fear of change, fear of computers/tech, fear of god, everyone nowadays is a pussy :p(No offense to the ladyfolk present; you gals usually show more balls than most guys lolz)

I think we can thank the multitude of gold sellers, character levellers, Glider users etc etc etc for the reputation some people place on us multiboxers.

I can give you an example of what I mean by this from my playing tonight, literally no more than a few hours ago. My Shaman team was running around Tarren Mills doing some quests, because I got sick of Shadowfang Keep. So, I hit the Elixir of Suffering quest, which for a multiboxer is appropriately named - 1 Spider Ichor and 10 Bear Tongues to complete. So, I'm after 5 Ichors, and 50!! Bear Tongues, and the drop rate blows. I must have stubbornly run around Tarren Mills for an hour dropping every bear I could see before I finally completed it.

In the meantime, I got a PM from someone who knew me that said I was about to be reported as a Glider user, because they'd been watching me run around TM for so long in a regular pattern killing bears (I've levelled so many Horde characters now, I knew exactly the best circuit to make to gather in all the bears). Sure enough, this person is following me around (I hadn't notice them before).

In the end, I explained what I was doing and they were apologised for the almost-report and wished me luck. The point being, to the un-initiated, what we do can easily come off as somehow illegal or underhanded. I've tried to counter that by being open about what I do, stopping to answer any polite questions people have, and I have to say, on my server at least, once people see what I'm doing the response is generally positive, even though it can often be initially negative.

If you want to really suffer, go do the quests in Shimmering Flats. Gather scorpion poison, turtle scales, races parts and vulture bones.

The poison and scales are a low drop at best, especially the scales. The racer parts are all over the damn place but you need 30 each. The vulture bones are a 100% drop but there's like 10 vultures in the entire zone on a slow respawn.

I was nearly suicidal after that. Those quests would be hell even for a single player. It ranks right up there with Gnomeregan on the NEVER-GOING-BACK scale.

I'm thinking of skipping Shimmering Flats for exactly that reason. I remember only too well how long those quests take for a single player. I think I'll be running SM a lot around that level to skip the zone and head straight into ZF when I can.

I think I collected 500+ rocket car parts. Why did I do that to myself? Skip that area ENTIRELY.

Drop rates really do feel like they were increased, took me about an hour for all the items on my shamans bar the rocket car parts, cause good god, no. But the actual quest items are pretty fast if you take advantage of the vulture/turtle/scorpid mass spawn points.

I think I gained a full level grinding those damn turtles. They obviously all have the shell-thingy. But does it drop when you kill it? Noooooo......

Uhh... its because it breaks? Yeah, thats the ticket.... because it breaks. You're beating on the turtle right? I dunno. That's the only excuse I've been able to come up with aside from that Blizzard wants you to spend more time grinding so that you keep playing.

    Just one more level...

Dustwallow Marsh rules now. Although I skipped most of Tabetha's quests. Otherwise, awesome levelling.
