    Default Lowly dualboxer. . .

Just thought I'd share with you what I'm looking at while I'm running only 2 toons around killing stuff:

    I'm running:
    AMD Athlon XP2800
    650w PS
    Nvidia Geforce 7600 gs
    2g ram

and it BARELY runs 2 on horizontal span BTW

That's true, but until I get a new place this is what I'm stuck with unfortunately. Also, if anyone has any ideas how to possibly get more performance out of this PoS computer I'm using PM me. Even when I'm doing PvE solo stuff it only runs at the MOST 20fps. Putting a 2nd game on it reduces it to 10-15

i assume u got everything video settings wise turned off, but i found that turning off vertical sync actually increased my fps. with it on i was at ~20fps main window with my other 2 visible but very small. turned it off and my fps rocketed to around 45-55 most the time, 100+ when im around nothing middle of nowhere areas. im not saying itll do that for u but it might.

    i run
    3000+ amd64
    2gb ram
    6800 ultra 256mb
Deepanalysis, Baadtouch, Captslow 3 x frost mages. trying to restore my mana and perhaps some frost faith

I read somewhere (don't remember where or if it's accurate so don't take my word for it) that by turning on vertical sync you're telling wow and your vid card to report the actual framerate produced, with it off, wow is showing the fps that it's sending to the vid card. Did the game seem to be running smoother overall with it off? I'll try it for a while, I'm actually waiting on the Azgalor pull right now, so we'll see if it works at least with one wow open and in a 25 man raid.

Update: With my graphics set to lower, not lowest, but lower, my fps did shoot to 50 before I stepped into hyjal, but I turned my settings all the way up and was getting 10-15 fps mid trash clear with infernals running rampant and all that other stuff. I'll turn it down for other stuff but I would guess that fps would go back up.

i think that, perhaps, it's horizantal span thats ruining ur fps's a lot.
u can't ask much more of the machine anyways.

Actually, by changing it back to horizontal span(I was running in dual screen view for a while), that it's actually running better than it was. Stil though, I'm not sure but I think I've seen similar systems running a whole lot more than what I am and still doing better. I could be wrong and it may just be time for an upgrade.

If this is on one PC are you running the different accounts from two different directories?

Yes, I am running 1 comp with 2 directories. Would it make a difference if they were being run through 1 directory?
