Default Turn and face macro for slaves

Right now I am running up to 3 accounts and have my simple macros set up for my slaves. The macros I'm using right now are the "Big Button" macro posted in the beginners section, very helpful btw, ty. And the others posted there as well, except the one for the Priests (ie. /spellcast smite, etc..) What I'm wondering, is there a command I can put in the /assist (Main), /target focus macros that will make my slaves automatically turn and face the targets? Alot of times, I end up pulling something and it gets too close to them or myself and they are either right on top of it just enough to not be able to cast/attack it or it's off to our sides and they won't attack at all. At that point I have to run around with them set to /follow to get them to face the target. Please tell me there's a way to combat this. I am set up on 1 pc with 1 mouse/keyboard and 1 monitor. Tryin to run on as few macros as posible cause I'm still not used to using them. I'm also wondering is there a command line I can add to the /assist or /target focus or anything that will make them switch from ranged/casting to melee/wands. My hunter's I'm tryin to run around with won't switch from guns to melee when the target gets too close. I don't want to use the 'Attack' button from my spell book cause I tend to use my right mouse button to attack a target with my main and hitting the 'Attack' button turns that off. Plus sometimes the command doesn't reach all the slaves and it would only mess them up too. Some would melee when I hit that button, some wouldn't, I'd hit it again and they'd switch and stop. Very annoying. Anyway, ty for any help.

Have two keys seperatly bind to turn right and turn left on your alts (the ones that would end up in melee. So you can turn those chars with those keys to left and right when you need too.

    About attacking.

Just use /assist focus(or the name of your main) and enable the interface option that attacks on assist in your interface options. It should always turn it on, and never off.

The only ways to automatically face the target that I know of are 1) the "/follow" command and 2) casting a channeled spell. I assume that your BigButton macro includes /follow. What I would do is hit that briefly and then immediately hit a button bound to "back up" on just your clones. You can map your arrow keys to clone movement for instance. I find it helpful to bind the extra mouse buttons on my Logitech MX518 for clone movement:

thumb button = BigButton macro (includes follow)
dpi up button = clones foward
dpi down button = clones back

Also - if you write /startattack in a macro instead of using Attack in your spell book, it won't turn it off when you hit it twice.

What about using Map Pings to face the target? I believe that is possible.

Is there a way to unbind the arrow keys on your main so they will only work on the slaves? seems easy enough if it is possible.

For anyone looking for an easy way to move the clones seperate from the main as group or individually, with the G15 it seems pretty easy.

I've set up the bottom group of 6 keys to control slave movements, the middle bottom key is the /follow main key, the other two bottom keys turn the slave(s) left right, the top row moves forward and left/right. The keys are bound to empty bar space on the main to avoid them causing the main to do something unintended.

    G15 Keys
    xxx
    xxx

    xxx
    xxx

    xxx - Slaves move left,forward,right
    xxx - Slaves turn left,follow main,turn right

With multiple slaves you could reverse the movements on the odd slaves to create a formation, i.e. slave one moves forward and right, slave two moves forward and left when the top middle and right key is pressed.

    Hope that makes sense.
