Ripping off the GTA thread...MK Wii?

I got MK Wii on release day(Yay for abusing Gamestop's "Preorder mkwii and get 20% extra tradein credit on the same trip!"; I happened to bring in a bunch of old DS shit I was never gonna play again and ended up paying for MKWii + having store credit left over between the 20% bonus and 10% edge card bonus/discount lol)

Good game so far, the Wheel is very responsive and fairly accurate(Though if I ever race super-seriously/time trials I'd use GC controller for controlled turbo boosts; doesn't work well with wheel), and the game plays very well; alot closer to snes/n64 gameplay(and features some GOOD courses from those for once too in the classics, both racing and battle maps) rather than the failure on the gamecube we don't speak of.

Anyone else got it? WTB [Friend Codes] so I can gank you all in MK too, PST :P

I got it last sunday, already through the 50cc and 100cc matches, those were pretty easy but the 150cc i can't do without putting it on manual transmission, for the boosts and it's hard to do with the wheel as you said. I just figured out that you can pull the wheel back or turn it side to side when you hit a ramp and when you land it will give you a pretty nice boost too.
The battle mode is so insanely fast paced i dont hardly score any points unless i get a red shell but that may be just me.

On another note, i'm prolly quitting WoW for a bit when RockBand comes out for the Wii, i need a break anyways, probaly gonna reroll on Mag when i come back.

Yeah I've done 50cc and the non-classic 100ccs so far with Wheel only but at the pace things're going I'm gonna have to use the controller for 150cc; Vs and Battle Mode online are fun though, it runs surprisingly smooth and laglessly :p I hate coin mode though, so cheap especially if the teams're uneven number or skillwise lol, and don't even get me started on rainbow road...*shudder* the only track I hate above 50cc lol

rofl Ked...yeah I'm pretty sure I wouldn't get away with that, though I do get away with a DS in the breakroom on breaks and lunch :p

lol nice, i have a psp and brought it up here one sunday, it's our slow day and it was quickly confiscated (sp) and then i found my supervisor playing the danm thing a hour later! i was like wtf! i lol'ed
