It seemed really overwhelming when I first started messing with it... but once you know where everything is, it's pretty easy to use. Youtube Search "vegas tutorial", it helped me out a LOT.

I'm enjoying your work as well. You should consider using CameraPlus as an aid to movie making. With this mod you can have keybinds to better control camera movement. The config panel offers options to control the speed of camera rotation and zooming. If you slow the rotation speed down to 2 you get a very nice pan effect in your video. You can also write macros utilizing the WoW API to help move the camera leaving your cursor free to click things. Something else you might try for effect is setting up different camera views with Blizzards standard keybindings and then switch views while recording. This causes the camera to sweep from one view to another and provides a nice effect. And there is also Camera Bobbing which moves the camera away from your character.

Have you considered using ErrorMonster? I think your movies will look better for it.

Alternatively, you can integrate the same functionality into your macros. Replace:

/cast...

with:

/run UIErrorsFrame:Hide()
/cast...
/run UIErrorsFrame:Clear();UIErrorsFrame:Show()

hehe shweet vid I have to say when I discovered how powerful 4/5 Magma totems were I was sold.. I've tried pulling 2 mob groups every time, but I realised quickly that it's being a little ambitious :P

I'm amazed how little damage your shammies take tho just goes to show that using a shield makes all the difference
