Some nice blue comments by Belfaire (scroll up a bit, I linked the last one). Very specific about broadcasting programs like Keyclone. It's all good.

He's saying he should win in a PvP situation because it's 1 person vs 1 person. Even though it's 5 characters vs 1 characters; he should win or at least it should be a balanced fight....

"Fun" isn't what I felt as I tried to slog my way through his lengthy posts that didn't say anything new. He went from saying "it's automation, and therefore against the ToS" to "well technically it's not against the ToS, but it's wrong" to "well, it's just that it's unfair" and so on.

In other words, someone who got rolled by a multiboxer and found the thread that says that this will be allowed to continue, and figured that he had some new angle on the discussion that would so shock Blizzard that they'd change their evil ways immediately.

So I simply hit him with the old standby: If Blizzard is really allowing people to ruin the game for money, then you are supporting this unethical/immoral attitude by continuing to play. So either quit, or admit that you're a hypocrite. I'm sure he'll be thrilled by that response, but I get tired of the old "Blizzard does it for the money" argument. They don't even realize what a moral dilemma they place themselves in by claiming that.

I believe you are misinterpreting what Malkorix has said, Vomitious. I'll attempt to simplify his third point a bit for you.

Spending money in this fashion does not provide any one character with an advantage over another; however, it does make multi-boxing possible. If there is a multi-boxer playing 5 shaman, the financial investment plays no role in making the fifth shaman by itself any stronger than any other shaman. This is the point Malkorix has illustrated in point number 3.

Your argument revolves around Malkorix's second point. Clearly there is an advantage in that you are able to sync 5 spell casts at the same time; however, they lack the ability to act independently. I believe this weakness is foolishly overlooked most of the time. In most cases, well-organized groups of 5 individual players are much harder to match up against because they are able to work independently of one another preforming much more complex actions in response to their surroundings.

Multi-boxing is, currently, not in violation of any of our policies so long as the characters are not automated. If the player is required to push buttons to preform the appropriate actions, this is not considered botting as no automation is present. Each action preformed is the result of a player pressing a button.

Yeah it's obvious when people complain because they lost to a multiboxer in PvP. Wonder if he's going to reply. Blue has been pretty damn clear.

We have one of these people on the EU forum also. Shows up in every thread, makes comments, ignores replies and keeps posting the same crap. Keeps re-defining HIS definition of automation/cheating. Annoying. Someone should invent bitchslap-over-ip.

I'm waiting for someone to post a QQ about me on the battlegroup forums from this weekend. I started my token grind, and forced myself to do a few WSG matchs :shudder: I won all but one match, through the simple fact that my paladin is ridiculously overgeared for that bracket. I just plowed through the field with the flag, stopping every time an alliance rode at me. It took no less than 3 minutes from alliance base to horde base each time.

The last game I played (I gave up for the day for obvious reasons) I was assaulted by my own team. Standard complaints, blah blah blah. Two of the players started following me to spam /spit and such (reported) and generally not contributing to the game. It really started to get me pretty ticked off; not because I don't think my team is at a disadvantage in WSG though. I know the cards are stacked against me. I failed in that match because a mage discovered that a blink>dragon's breath combo kept me busy long enough I became pretty much ineffective. All it takes is one or two people to keep me from mounting up to catch up to a flag carrier.

The reason I was upset was because these people don't contribute. I recommended they /afk out, especially when I took the flag and held it at our base where my shaman team could hold up a defense indefinitely. They wanted me to drop it because it was going to take forever because my team couldn't go offense. Why couldn't the rest of them go retrieve our flag? Oh yeah, they were too busy harassing me. I noticed very quickly that I was the only one on my team above level 65, and the only one with decent gear. I really don't get why level 60 players can come into the game and tell me I'm the reason they're losing. :cursing:

I hate asshole solo boxers. Hate is a powerful word, but there it is.
