Default Will this work? [DELL 4400]

    Hi,

I have an old Dell Dimension 4400 P4 1.6GHz with 1GB DDR400 SDRAM and a 5700LE 256MB VideoCard. Can this setup handle 2 copies of WoW running at same time? I know it can handle 1 copy at decent graphics settings.

    I could upgrade it to P4 2.8GHz Northwood with 1GB Corsair XMS PC3200 memory with a 6800XT 512MB 256-bit GDDR2 AGP 4x/8x VCard? (total $300)

Default Maybe, but it won't last long

Hi, just signed up to answer your question

I think it's good enough, but it won't last long, I'd suggest you upgraded your computer fully out. By that I mean, get rid of AGP and go PCI Express, because AGP is history and the cards won't last long if you wanna run many windows and better games.

This is what I have got, and I can run LOTS of windows and Crysis in Full Res, without laggs

I bought this almost a year ago, so you might find better upgrades, but at a higher price Regards Mico! ^^

I already have a gaming rig this is just my back up that i run thottbot or wowhead and 1 copy of wow on. My sig panel states my current gaming rig. I would love to have a 2nd gaming rig but gas prices have put a damper on my spending. if i could just squeeze 2 copies of WoW out of the 4400 id be happy i dont want it to really to run any other games since i already have a rig set up for that. the 4400 would be the slave just so i can 5 box. otherwise ill just use the 4400 for porn  so i can keep the gaming machine clean and fresh

I live near Memphis. I played WoW on that 4400 for 2 years decently. Just today i copied WoW to C: and ran 2 copies at same time i was getting 25fps on 1 copy and 15fps on the other. I am certain i couldnt go to any city with that fps. but if i run maximizer and lower the alt to 5fps and the main window to 30fps it would be manageable.

on my gaming rig i can run 3 clients at 70fps each and now i can run 5 on 2 boxes using 2 keyclones, i cant wait, hey Keyclone im coming to buy my second keyclone!!!
