heyas.

i'll just cut to the chase, im 2 boxing with accounts in my name but i also have an account that is not in my name
i know i cant box with it
but what i want to know is if i use the account solo like i did before boxing
will it increase my chance of being banned?
now that i'm boxing gm's may take more of an intrest in my ip i guess is my worry

The account you're sharing will be banned, no doubt. It might even be queued to be banned in the future if you've been playing on it. The accounts in your name should be fine, but the moment they sniff your IP being tied to the account not in your name you better have a good excuse, which you most likely won't, which means you got someones account and characters banned until they prove who they are and then your account is next for sharing IP's with his.

Also, you're asking us if it's ok to exploit the TOS, which is a no-no. So don't if you care to be around here very long as they don't take kindly to that.

im not sharing the account
i own the account.. from a friend who quit pre tbc so my ip is the only ip that has played it in the last 2 years...
i know its not ok to exploit the TOS.. im not a child
i was simply asking if this would violate the tos.
yet i dont get how people play alongside their wives with 2 seperate accounts and don't get banned
as if they were in the same house it would be the same ip am i right?
or is there a claus in the tos which forbids you from playin different accounts on the same pc?

The problem you have is that basically you're asking something that's against the ToS.

You are, by Blizzard's definition, "sharing" the account. Even though you're patently not!

Given the community guidelines here (which I fully support), you're not going to get any answer other than "it's against the rules".
