Ok I got fairly frustrated with Octopus, and decided to buy Keyclone. So far so good. The "clones running rampant" thing happens with "Shift Looting", but other than that, very stable and enjoyable. I'm adding L-Shift + EVERY KEY to avoid that in the future.
Anyway, a few questions (and do forgive me, if I post more over the following weeks)
I have a 37" Monitor, and split my 2 characters evenly on the screen.
I really don't like doing this. I've played MMO's for a decade now with only looking at one screen/UI. It's incredibly irritating on my weak eye.
Until I get some space in a few weeks to try using a smaller monitor for the clone, while using the big one for the brain (moving into a new house soon) can I just minimize the clone, and run around using the main window? Saving Maximizer for when I hook up a second display?
Minus quest drops, and quest turn ins, there isn't a major reason to have the screen up right (except to steer an auto follower back when they go bonkers)?
Next question. Is the /follow method really the best way to do it, or would allowing the keyboard to control movement of all characters be a better idea?
Finally, I fill up my 1 through = hotbar with spells, so that the twins cast the same spell at close to the same time. What if/when I get more spells, and want/need the ability to have more than one set of active/accessible bars. What's the best way to do that? When I hit 40, get shadowform, mindflay and a small arsenal of other abilities; I can tell that 12 buttons will not be enough for spells, food, drink, mount, follow macros, stop macros, mana tap, arcane torrent, heals, etc.
Final question.... for now (*sinister laugh*): This dual WoW project is an experiment, I have a raider and use a custom UI. That UI gets destroyed from playing the twins... anything I can do to keep my UI and functionality in one piece after each play session?
