Keyclone No longer working

Ok here is the problem, I go to start up Keyclone today and it starts just fine but when I got to Launch a Command "Windows Vista" stops it for some DEP crap. Its never done that before and I haven't changed any settings that I can remember.
I've tried reinstalling but to no avail. i've add Keyclone to be excluded from DEP but no dice. Any Ideas?

umm... what is DEP?

did you run keyclone as admin? i usually put a shortcut on my desktop, then modify the properties of the short cut (right-click/properties/advanced) and set it to always run as administrator.

I have also tried running keyclone as admin. I didn't know what DEP was at all never heard of it but this is what comes up after Windows closes keyclone.

nope.. never heard of it. and what exactly would be 'windows memory' in a protected memory model? oh yea.. it's windows.. what was i thinking..

try running ventrilo and see if you get the same thing

If a DEP trap is being triggered, chances are that your installation of KeyClone is hosed - the binary has been corrupted in some way. Do all the usual stuff - Virus Scans, etc - and then redownload it ONLY from the solidice website.

If you still have problems, you may have a screwed up configuration that's highlighted a latent bug in KC (overflow, whatever) so delete your configuration file too.

Sounds like your copy of Keyclone is corrupt or has malware, trash it and get a fresh copy from Rob's site AFTER doing a thorough scan of your system and changing your account passwords (from a safe computer)

I run AVG Free, But on because the Zone Alarm Security Suite doesnt support 64 bit. I was pissed after I found out...

It scans every day, I let it run and do its thing no virus found.


Ok after some messing around with things, I thought i'd try and start up wow manually and Scan the AH and sell a couple things. The Opening Movie comes up like this is my first time starting up wow.... And Keyclone Works!

I also removed winrar and messed with a couple settings. But if When keyclone tried opening wow it also tried starting the Intro movie. Depending on what Program/Codec is used by it that may have been what was keeping it from working correctly.
