a question from a new dual boxer

Hi All,

I thank you for taking your time to look at my thread its nothing differcult just looking for some friendly advise. Im toying with the idea of going mage/moonkin or lock/moonkin I was also think if anyone could give me any general combos for 2 boxing so I have a few ideas to go through. Also I've been wondering how does the class specfic quests work when you are doing 2 different classes like bear form etc and warlock pet quests do you help out on both or? do this part solo. even though you probably don't care I am dual boxing because I can't stand leveling normally and I think having 2 characters leveling at the same time will enchance the leveling experience thus making it less boring, does dual boxing make leveling faster too or?. I've got the general hang of keyclone and managed to get the basics layed down and working. Just trying to pick classes now something I am bad at doing :-(.

random duo-ing thoughts:

2dps classes make quest leveling nice and quick (hunter/hunter for instance)

healer+tank makes finding three DPS for instances pretty easy (druid/priest/pal + druid/pal/war)

healer+dps gives you some flexibility when allout DPS just doesn't quite cut it. (mage+priest is one of my favs for 2boxing), druid+rogue is also a lot of fun.

I run my whole team with them. If you have to kill things, the one who isn't on the quest will at least get the xp.

Of course we care, this is the ultimate place for multiboxers! And, so far in my 10 levels of multiboxing experience, it isn't faster but that's probably because I spend alot of time running around trying to find all the non-gathering quests for my level. Doing 5x gathering quest = not so fun and very time consuming (unless the droprate is 100% then I consider it).

As for class suggestions, your combos sound good. Sounds like you definitely want to roll a moonkin. Have you considered two? Either way, I don't think you'll have any issues with the two classes. I run five and so far it isn't that bad (even though it is getting macro crazy even at 10).

When dualboxing, you pretty much pick what you enjoy and go for it. Good luck and welcome to the forums!
