It sounds like you have something bound to Alt+G already. All of my hotkeys are on the normal bars, so mine is Alt+=, Ctrl+=, etc.

Nope nothing bound to modifier + keybinding ... are you using the standard blizzard bars? I am using bongos and perhaps that is the issue.

Yeah, I just use the standard bars.

Another cool thing about it is that when you also use #show or #showtooltip in conjunction with the question mark icon, it will change the icon on the bar just by pressing your modifier key. Kind of a way to make sure it's working.
