What's the next-gen video card for multiboxing?

I'm having a hard time determining what kind of video card I want to put into my new rig, assuming a budget under $500 for the card. The vast majority of reviews/users out there don't use their cards like we do...ie multiple D3D windows running at the same time in lower resolution across one or two monitors. I think it changes the search parameters for your card choice but I'm not smart enough to figure that out. Any thoughts?

Considering the 8800GT series is mostly overkill with any decent multi-core CPU, yeah, that'd do nicely.

whats the difference on the 8800 series... and do you think i would be better for me to get an 2x8800 512mb or 2x1gb and do you think id accually get used?
