Default Advise needed on new set up

Hello guys, im new to the site and multi-boxing and would like some input and advice on a new setup.
Ive tried Duel-Boxing on my old pc and it was very satisfying allthough the pc itself seemed to have alot of lag issues, My old pc wasnt ideal or upto the task of my goal of boxing 4 clients on the one pc so ive desicded to invest in a new setup. I Live in the UK so some of the appetising purchases found on the us sites are still Vastly overpriced when they get converted over into sterling and marked up to market price.

Case: CoolerMaster BLACK CM 690 CASE http://www.dabs.com/productview.aspx?Quicklinx=4QYN
PSU: CoolerMaster 700W REAL POWER PRO MODULAR PSU http://www.dabs.com/productview.aspx?Quicklinx=4QZV
Motherboard: EVGA S775 nForce 780i DDR2 SLI ATX Audio Lan http://www.dabs.com/productview.aspx?Quicklinx=4ZX6
    Ram: Corsair Memory 4GBKIT (2X2GB) 800MHZ NON ECC CL5 http://www.dabs.com/productview.aspx?Quicklinx=4PDN
    CPU: Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 2.4GHz OEM http://www.dabs.com/productview.aspx?Quicklinx=4S5Z
GFX Card: BFG Graphics GeForce 8800GTS 512MB GDDR3 PCIE Dual DVI http://www.dabs.com/productview.aspx?Quicklinx=4V39 x2
    HD: Western Digital Raptor 150GB S150 16mb 10000rpm x2

Total cost for all not including dvd-r is roughly around £920 Same sort of set-up listed on another thread buying through a us site would cost me around $1000 around 600 quid doesnt seem quite fair. Anyways if anyone has input about the machine and how to lower-cost while maximising performance would be welcome and appriciated.
Another Question about my setup is that i am currently running windowsxp Home on my pc at the moment but i do however have a copy of WindowsVista Home Premium on my Laptop i am posting from (in bed FTW) But ive read about needing a 64bit OS to get the best performance??

Nice setup, would only recommend a couple of changes and they really depend on your budget and the lifespan you see for this upgrade.

First major changes would be a different mobo, go for a 790 rather than the 780 (there's a good writeup on anandtech about why) but this will also necessitate going with DDR3 rather than DDR2. These are the two things that will likely cause you the most cost change.

Secondly, I'd possibly look into getting 2 9600GT's as opposed to a single 880GTS. The main reason for this is that a single 9600GT benchmarks just slightly under an 8800GTS in single card mode and above it in SLI + is a DirectX 10 card for future upgrade paths. Having the 2 9600GT's in SLI will allow you to run games other than WoW in higher resolution or with more eye-candy on and when multiboxing in WoW you can remove the SLI and have 1 card per monitor rather than 2 monitors on one card so you should get higher framerates all round.

If the budget is a little tighter then there is no real reason to change things (well there is when comparing the 790 to the 780 but still) but if you can sweat the difference I'd say that would make a slightly better upgrade path for the future.

thank you for the input, the gfx card i chose i was going to buy 2x that card - but i will look into the card you advised aswell as the upgrade to the motherboard.

I would love to hear from anyone that has done this successfully because I just tried this with 2 cards, 2 monitors and the performance was not any better - in fact it seemed worse (vista 32bit, 4gig ram, quad core amd 9600 phenom).
