Just to update, I've been having the most fun lately with Pally, 3x Fire Mage, RSham. The damage is high and consistent for both aoe and single target, and I get to cheese some mechanics that would be harder to pull of with other setups. For example, mage armor trivializes Forgemaster Garfrost in heroic Pit of Saron, because the increased frost damage debuff that he pulses wears off before it can stack.

A friend has been running Pally, 3x Survival Hunter, RSham (though he intends to switch to warrior tank). The aoe and single target is very good and sustainable for 5-man content, even at sub-optimal gear levels.
