[WoW] Extremely Bored of WoW

Yeah.. so I'm extremely bored of wow... nothings fun anymore.. I can arena and get higher to get barely better gear for what point? To be more bored...
Can't hardcore pve raid.. Have all the pvp gear available for all specs on my druid.. been all specs on my druid fully epiced.. badge gear aren't upgrades = heroics are boring..

What is there to do..

When I got bored, I completely mixed everything up. I rerolled:

PVE to PVP
Horde to Alliance
Rogue/Shaman/Priest to Warlock

Starting afresh on a new server where I didn't know anybody and didn't have any high level toons to supply me with gold and bags was the most refreshing thing I ever did. It made WoW feel like 2005 again.

Don't be afraid to turn your back on 1000s of hours of work. What good is it doing you if you're not having fun.

I have 70s on both PvE and PvP server
I have 70s on both Alli & Horde
I have a 70 of almost every class and really starting over at lvl 1 on one of those new classes would be the most boring thing (I did and got to 15 before I almost quit from the boringness of it)
I pay $15/month for my guild's vent, $5/month for website, $30/month for 2 accnts on the server with the guild.. rerolling on a new server would not be cool.

I suggest doing something completely different then. As in, something other than WoW. Take a break for a week or two, play on a console, read a book or whatnot. Just don't log in.



Worse case scenerio, shut down your accounts untill the expansion comes out.

See but then when I do get back into it I'd be pissed at myself for those many weeks of not getting arena points lol

That's exactly my point. The more time you spend away from the game, the more it will feel good when you return to it.

I have to work a lot and tend to my family, so I don't get to play very often, perhaps mabye 10 hours a week.

Besides, why would you miss out on arena points since it's not going to award you anything but useless meager trinkets compared to what you got now?

season4 comes out in 1 month, all of that is upgrades, if I don't have enough pnts saved up I'll be far behind all other arena teams for a long time.

I made a team of 4 tauren shaman and a pally and I was in the same boat as you. I bg'd until I had 2 parts of s1 gear for each of them, ran around the barren world looking for some world pvp, and at that point I just decided I needed a change. I played horde through 5 70s leveled as singles and leveled the old fashioned way. So I recently rerolled alliance on a high pop RP-PvP server (Emerald Dream). I'm having a blast so far. All it took for me to start having fun again was a change. I've played alliance side before, but it was so long ago I forgot most of it. Plus, I haven't seen any of the post 60 alliance areas for myself. Not to mention I remember probably less than 10% of the alliance quests I've done in the past.

Another thing that helped refresh my interest in WoW. I'm taking the time doing things I don't normally do. Like leveling tradeskills, exploring more, and reading the quest dialog... :x
Maybe you just need a change.
