Keep my solos on a seperate account to my teams?

Hi All,

Is there any advantage to keeping your teams in corresponding slots on the character selection screen? Is there any disadvantage to not doing?

As I'm just starting, I have the advantage of having four nice clean accounts with no toons on them but my fifth account has all my solo characters on it. If I were to create a team now, four of the toons would be in slot one but the fifth would be in slot 5. Is this going to cause me any problems? Should I take the hit of a sixth account so that I have one for my solos and five for my teams?

on the cararter load screen it dose not matter one bit. I have min all over the place depending on the account and when I created it.

The thing to remember is this if you want you teem to line up in a spicfic order such as

Xname
Aname
Bname
Cname
Dname

then you must create them in reverse order so make your toons in this order

dname
cname
bname
aname
xname

thus when you group they will be in order blizard dose this by create time and date

The only real advantage I can see from a 6th acct (wish I had one for this reason) is buff chars.

I have druid, pally, mage and priest, but all are on one of the 5 accounts. In an ideal world, before a heroic, I'd invite the buffers 1 by one into a raid to buff the whole group.

I do this sometimes with the priest and mage, just taking 1 slot of the 4, but one char always therefore misses out on the buffs.

i have 7 acnts..the 5box team(s) and a mage and priest for support. love it! If i ever level my druid, I will put him on an 8th and have some sweet buffs to start instances. Helps mow down the first few sections a lot faster.( until the buffs fade an hour later ) But if i wanted i could run back out before a final boss to re buff if and when that is feasible.

I have my 70 Mage on a 6th account to buff my group and boost them in instances.

I have my 70 pally and 70 mage on 6th account to help boost my 5man team. Was thinking of getting 7th so the mage can be on his own account.

I think my next teams will be in groups of 3's. So, 3 priests, 3 locks, etc. Figure this way i can try the pally/mage boosting strategy.

Good thread. I hadn't considered the idea of a 6th account for buffing, but now I certainly will.
