I finially got my 2nd wind on my mages... started at 62.. dinged 70 in 1 week from that time

As of monday i was level 62, i am now level 67.5 on my 3 mages...
I have had all sorts of luck while leveling that made it all so much easier for me.

#1: being able to solo group quests is amazing
#2: with shatter combos it is ridiculous damage and makes it seem like butter
#3: collection quests go fast when listening to numa numa...otherwise it's trance
#4: surprisingly headphones make it so much better, they really put you into the trance like state just to grind away at shit. (bose noise canceling headphones.. the 350$ ones)
#5: while doing some quests in nagrand at 65 i got 2 x 1k gold plans and 2 more JC designs worth 450-500g each
#6: i fell short of 67 in nagrand so i farmed the area near durn(whom i soloed) and made about 200g just off the primals, and about 100g off the netherweave
#7: i've gotten alot of attention, followers, people calling me cheater and much praise by others... i even found people willing to give me game time cards for allowing them to farm with me.
#8: i met a really nice t6 disc priest, a really nice s3 hunter and a really really nice t6/s3 enhance shaman while running around shatt, they all agreed to help level my 4x shaman from 21-70 for about 500g each per 60-70, and the shaman is running me from 21-60 by himself
#9: i am coming twords the end of my freshman year in college... so i have had alot of spare time to put into WoW... like 9 hours a day. It's been a blast
#10: i was given a tip on leveling from 68-70 and making tons of gold... farming BT steps and pulling 4-5 mobs at a time...so i should give this a try asap
#11: i figured out coldsnap + water elemental is retarded and will make 3's fun as hell
#12: joanas guide is godlike

I am currently in blades edge mountians following joanas guide... even with the dumb low drop rate collection quests i have been FLYING through levels and at the rate i'm going now i COULD reach 70 by next tuesday! (that is 50% level per day) and in all likleyhood i will reach 70 by sunday night (pull an all nighter/all day tomorrow and maybe even reach it by the end of saturday)

In other news... my local arcade got tekken 6 and street fighter 3 3rd strike... so now i will lose MORE money per month than i did buying cards for wow... i need a job lol.

lol...every time I hear that song my mind instantly pictures City Of Heroes...cuz I used to have that playing all the time as I lvl'd in it it's become ingrained as part of the memory. Just like Gorillaz - Feel Good Inc is directly linked to levelling my first two chars(both warriors) in STV...when the chorus hits I can picture myself on the shore ganking snapjaw crocs and venture co. geologists with a Whirlwind Blade/Mace lol

I'm glad to hear you're back. I remember when we told you to take a break Yeah, I just dinged 66 and I think my last few levels have taken ~5-6 hours /played. so, I usually ding a level in 2-3 nights. Hoping to finally hit 70 next weekend... but I'm tempted to hang out at 69 and gather BG marks.

Gallo, if you really really have to get pvp gear, do it at 69; avoid the s3 welfailures(woo new term coined) who you can't crit and seem to think their gear > your skill(depends on the fight matchup); farm it while it's "fair" ground while you can, cuz you can't go back later :p

Yeah, I'm torn though. Getting to 70, and enjoying Kara and BG's with my guildmates who are already 70 is important. I don't play a TON, so I'd probably have to hang out at 69 for 2-3 weeks to make full advantage of it... so I dunno.

IMO if they're actually gonna let you go to kara, fuck the BGs, kara gear's better in general :p PVP gear is pvp-focused whereas raid gear can serve you well everywhere.

My guild has been farming Illidan for awhile now, and is progressing through Sunwell. Kara is a joke to them... they do it for the badges only. I'd get nearly 100% of the gear I wanted.... mail/leather/cloth whatever. So yeah, I'm leaning toward just dinging.

i never actually left just took a small break.

with school ending and me needing to get a job pretty much all summer i'll play playing teh wows.

Since i have these mages i can easily boost my shaman to 58 and then buy services of a fury warrior or enhance shaman to do ramparts/slave penns.
