Keyclone Questions

Hey all, new to the forums, just started a 5 crew of shammys and loving it.

Keyclone is a godsend. I think I actually fought against you in SB! I do have a questions about it thou.

1) The focus follow mouse is giving me problems on Vista; it seems to lag a second when it tries to put the focus on a new wow window. Or if I mouse move the camera around while on focus and don’t release the mouse button and move to a different window it wow's camera freaks out every time i go back to that window and won’t recognise the depressed right mouse button.

2) What does the performance boost checkbox actually do?

In my opinion focus follow mouse is still not quite ready for prime time... in other words, I don't use it.

As far as the performance boost check box. KC told me what it does... I told him to name it something else because he was going to get questions about it. Here is my chance to say "Rob, I told you so."

but I am not going to say that because I forget what he told me... If I missremember correctly it was something that someone playing a game other than wow requested and thus... since it had nothing to do with wow I immediately forgot about it.

So, there's no benefit to having it checked for running WoW?

I just checked it when I saw it because my computer needs all the help it can get. :S

it does have limited improvements... basically, it came from the thread talking about how having winamp running actually helped performance due to some timer tweak (not at home to post the code). as far as i remember, the bonus was felt only on xp
