Went into Sunken Temple...

So i finally cleared my way outa ZF. Hit lvl 49 and thought I'd take a stab at the Temple.

I got my butt kicked.

Elites, even small groups of elites are really no problem for my group. BUT when you throw in 2-3 elites with 2-5 non elites, i wipe nearly every time. I think I finally found a way to deal with them though (after 1-2 deaths per pull for an hr or 2). I'll put all 3 sets of dots on each elite (corr, COA, SL) and then put my chars in the middle of the group thats pounding on the voidwalkers. Then commence the AOEfest. The priest shields, and begins casting prayer of mending, while the locks hellfire everything to death. I would use rain of fire, but the locks lose too much mana, and then we go oom while leaving 2-3 things alive.

I'll update after trying it a few more times. If it doesnt work out, then it looks like early morning Un'goro questing might get me to the next instance (brd?).

I had a tough time with my Druid/4 Hunter team in ST. Tough mob fights with the dragons and whelps. Wouldn't want to do it with a lock. Good luck,

I went to Sunken Temple at level 52 and was able to clear the entire instance, except for the final boss.

The final boss kicked my ass. Can't beat "Shade of Eranikus" [final boss @ Sunke

Maybe level up at Un'goro and try Sunken Temple again after 1 or 2 levels...

Yeah, I found out teh same thing you did. In fact, had I known then what I know now, I'd probably have specced enough destruction during leveling to get Pyroclasm/Intensity and just AoE'd everything down much easier.

Well if you want to have a laugh at my expense, when I dual-boxed my paladin up with my epicced Lock I went through ST to do all the quests...no problems at all there, until I got to the final boss and realized I needed a third person to click the stone. Man I was pissed off. Course there were like 2 guildies on at the time and neither of them had the slightest interest in trekking to ST to help.
