I said man screw this i'm heading to the outlands! so I go ahead and upgrade my accounts with BC. Run to the Dark portal all happy, thinking "Finally some real quest gear!".

I reach the portal as I run in to it with my hands in the air

You must be level 58 to enter the outlands.
