Default Does CastSequence have a limit?

Does anyone know if /castsequence has a limit to the number of casts you can put into it? I ask because I want to set up a macro on my 5-box team's lock to cast Curse of Elements on the focus target bound to the same key on the pally tank that judges a mob. I want to do something like this:

    Code:
    /castsequence reset=target/combat Curse of Elements, , , , ,
The intention being just casting CoE once per mob no matter how many times the tank judges the mob, hoping the reset happens when I change targets or go out of combat. Obvisouly to ensure it works for long fights, I want to make it foolproof and so put a bajillion commas after the curse.

So, how many commas can I put after the Curse and not break things? Would this work like I want?

    Thanks,

    Mark.

as long as you don't go the 255 character limit I think you will be fine

    Its not fool proof.

There is lag time when switching targets from main to alts. If you switch targets quickly, you'll miss a cast on the alt casting Cuse of Elements.
But that would just result in CoE being applied potentially on the 2nd judgement the pally would do right? Regardles of the lag, the macro still properly resets when it finally detects a target change right? If that is how it works, I think I would still be ok with it, it still gives the end result that each target gets the curse at some point and not more than once.

Or are you saying that the lag could cause the macro to never notice the target change and hence continue blasting through commas?

Awesome, thanks for the info. I'm at work and so can't try it out. The more I delve into the 5-boxing thing, the more fun I am having trying to figure it all out and maximize my efficiency. I can see this adding a new level of addiction to the game.

Hmm that's actually an interesting Idea that may work with some macros I've been having issues with.

Also I was going to say you could just do a modifier on your CoEx, something like...

    /cast [modifier:shift, target=party1target] Curse of Exhaustion

This way it only casts if you hold down shift. You could also simply switch "party1target" with "focustarget" if you use focus instead of party1.
