Be careful with boxing. I've never done it with software, but I was flagged as a bot last week while boxing on 6 accounts. All 6 were permabanned and it took me 5 tickets to get someone to look into my appeal.
I used isboxer for dungeons in the early days of wrath classic and no ban to date. I assume avoiding people reporting you is the most important thing because Warden works in mysterious ways So I'd just run them in dungeons independently and then use broadcasting inside...but I fully expect to ride a banwave some day...

    ...for the better.

Yeah I am so tempted to try it again. Turn off everything until I enter instanced content and then turn ISBoxer on. I would go into it setting everything up assuming it would get flagged and banned eventually... but may be worth the $300ish investment. I mean if I got away with it for like 6 months I would be incredibly happy and feel fulfilled. and there is always the chance I get away with it

Boy i miss multi boxing WoW something fierce. Playing 1 toon sucks, and alt tabing sucks worse.

play with the mouse over way, its still pretty easy my team will face roll most heroics now, I'm about to dip my toe into the heroic +, I honestly can't even remember what it was like to broadcast anymore. I was seriously thinking about this the other day how/if it would improve my experience and I honestly don't think it would, I'm so capable of running the characters independently of each other that a lot of the mechanics that were a challenge for boxing seem trivial now because I just adapted to them playing everyone individually. I think the only major difference would be for teams bigger than 5, raids would be a nice challenge for sure with 10 characters so that's a no go. Melee team maybe? Even still I'm quite confidant it could be done with mouse over. Channeled casts like drain life/mind flay break follow so a team of warlocks and priests is bit annoying having to re follow all the time.

I'm honestly enjoying multi boxing far more than I ever did with broadcasting, its made me work out a lot more things and forced me to get better as a player. I'm constantly trying to work out what the most optimal team is, I'm convinced its not just prot and 4 shaman, however I do feel a class that can remove potions is vital for the team, my priest/dk/3mage team suffers pretty hard from not having that. Give it a go mate, never know might prefer it

What is the mouse over way? Sorry, not sure what you are talking about.

I play on a Mac so I had to come up with a lot of work arounds as its not natively a part of the apple OS but essentially putting your mouse over the window will bring it to the front. Its called Focus-Follows-Mouse or something like that in windows.

Basically this allows you to do mouse circles across the windows to allow you to put a key press to that window. There's quite a few good YouTube videos on peoples set ups, look for 'multi boxing manually'. There's a very slight delay on the Mac OS work around I use which I haven't seen so much in Windows set ups but its useable. I was manually clicking on each warcraft window to bring it to the front, which is why I started manual boxing in TBC with hunters so they could at least sustain some dps even without button presses through auto shot and pet damage.

Its no where near as efficient as broadcasting, I would say at best I'm probably getting 65-70% dps efficiency on my characters but that seems to be enough to do heroics. Gearing in wrath definitely trivializes a lot of the content.
