    Default Windows resizing issue.

    Hey everyone,

Just curious if anyone has a solution or knows what's happening. I have a 4K monitor I have 5 WoW windows open on. Every so often, the windows all resize themselves to a smaller size (Windows are all the same size) and reposition to the center of the screen overlapping each other. This is extremely annoying when running dungeons as you can imagine. I never had this happen in the past 15 years. It started this past year. It's random, does it at times where nothing is happening.

    Couple things.

    1. I deleted unused monitors from Device Manager.
    2. Drivers are all up to date.
    3. I have a side monitor I use for Google/Strat lookup stuff.
    4. I manually size and place the windows. I don't use JoeBoxer or another program.

Anyone have an idea why this is happening and a solution?

I figured this out if it is happening to anyone else. It was the combination of 2 issues. DX 12 and Multitasking Snap Windows being turned on. I think this is a rare random thing based on your monitor and graphics card. Once I switched to DX 11 and turned snap off, it stopped. In case this comes up for someone in the future. Just thought I would post what worked for me.

You may want to try the following to control your WoW client Layouts:

Even if you only use it for layouts it is worth it (though it does a lot more). The following is an example of what the Layout Wizard looks like on/for a 4K monitor used as a 2nd monitor in a multi-monitor setup:
