The Eclipse buff is intended for 100% uptime

The Starfire proc's a big damage buff for Wrath
The Wrath proc's a big crit buff for Starfire

So with that there's a few things to consider, one being your current crit chance. If it's below 25% then I'd advise you keep it simple with a
/castsequence reset=combat Starfire, Wrath
Alternating macro. This will ensure you harness at least 50% of the possible buff.

If the longer cast time of Starfire in the opener is annoying you and fights are short, you could fair better with a
/castsequence reset=combat Wrath, Wrath, Starfire
rotation

Then when you start getting your crit up above 25% you can force eclipses to occur more likely to your advantage and make a couple macros accommodating each eclipse.
lunar
/castsequence reset=15 Wrath, Wrath, Starfire, Starfire, Starfire, Starfire, Starfire, Starfire, Starfire, Starfire
solar
/castsequence reset=15 Starfire, Wrath, Wrath, Wrath, Wrath, Wrath, Wrath, Wrath, Wrath, Wrath, Wrath, Wrath, Wrath, Wrath

Now an interesting thing with Boomy and Destro is that you wont need to cast Curse of Elements since Wrath and Starfire both apply a similar debuff automatically called Earth and Moon.

As for dots, moonfire will be more damage than insect swarm, probably only want to cast them when you're moving and cant turret cast, and might want to just drop insect swarm completely if you're with a destro/demo lock. moonfire + IFF is probably better choice/damage as well with demo macro'ed in with corruption + agony.

Now, the entire reason for boomy and why you'll likely just want to reroll 3 boomy at 60 after seeing what a single boomy starfall can do. Well 2 reasons. Starfall and Treants Force of Nature. Both do an insanely broken op amount of damage. Starfall both single target and aoe, and Treants are incredibly underrated single target damage. No exaggeration here. And there's no rotation needed, just hit starfall and spam moonfire for adds, wrath for bosses, and everything just melts. 1 minute cooldown with glyph. Treants are like an empowered Felguard.

I know Ele was the boxer king of TBC.
I know we crowned Ret pally in og wotlk, and it was good
But i feel like we as a whole missed the mark on Boomy at that time being the best.

I took your advice and swapped my Priest to Holy, and my Druid to Boomkin, he's usually the top damage on single target fights, freaking beast.

Question, do you know any macros for Force of Nature? I tried making one that would cast @player, kinda like Flamestrike - but it doesn't seem to work. I was hoping for a 1 button cast (less to manage)

Really enjoying boss fights now, only level 51 but can't wait to get some AoE with him. Thanks again for your awesome post!
