EAT ( Ebony's Awesome Tools )

A tool for levellers and friends and Mutliboxers (that are within then new TOS), to help quest/group/and do helpful tasks in game.



Unlike EMA this does Not do everything for you! and will need more of a manual work. (its up to the user to work out what they want to make it easier)

EMA relays on a lot of add-on communication. 9.1 and tbc beta have both been hit with what you can send over communication channels. to act more like classic or even worse (and anyone that used ema to the fullest on classic will know ema just lags very far back ) and lets not go down the rabbit hole as well it seems this has been added to guild as well now so that loop hole has been coved

Core:

Team == No Master! Everyone is a master!

Group/Tag

Settings

Communication == /w only

Channels == will be for replaying and telling the team any information.

Toon:

Set Loot (Classic/Tbc)
auto accept summon from team members
auto accept res requests from Team Members/all

Helpful Tools

Reworked (probs a keybinding (everyone presses) or a command !followme ( communication free ) No other follow options.

Assist - noMaster but you can do {slot1} EG /Click [AN]Assist {slot1} eg
Focus - same as before nothing really going to be a problem there.
Target - same as Assist

Taxi - Reworked will tell the Team and store what taxi a route was taken. (then a command "!takeFP" )

Mount - ( communication free ) Command !Mountwithme ( live )

So what is going?

Master = no need for this anymore!
Follow == after combat/strobe
warnings == if they are in they be said by the toon and sent to master to replay the the msg.
Talk == if your not watching you chars then its your fault.

I suggest it is important to keep the 'follow strobe me'. In instance when dealing with mobs that can fear, it is important to make everyone auto come back to me. It is difficult to click each individual, have them face the master correctly, and manul/auto run. By the time this is done, the mobs probably cast the fear the second time. This is the case when I multiboxed 'the Underbog' in Outland.

Cool, this is exactly what i got in mind, but i don't have neither skill or licence right to make it happen.

One thing i would add is a keybind for EmaAction and make all action requiered to press the button. Even if it's technically not needed.
For exemple, you take a fly with your main, you have to press EmaAction to make your alt take the same flight. Same with quest ...

And i would prefer if you remove all feature linked to follow, assist and mount. Just remove it, so it does not like a multiboxing tool anymore.
You can add an option/keybind to set/switch focus on party member and just use regular /follow focus macro or page action based ftl system.

Yes please! It's the only thing I have not been able to work out.

Being able to quickly shuffle items to slaves is a big deal to me.

I might even try to reverse engineer it from the last ema copy I have.

no sorry this is way to much streamlined and something i don't feel we should keep if i want to keep the FollowUnit API in the game. i nerver needed it. in tbc beta

You can use the jamba and could redo that to work with the new game as I have no control over that addon licence .
