(100% newb looking for help

hello, im trying to find a good way to run a dual client program to get into some pve only action. i have no idea what im doing, but a guildie of mine recomended this site to me. at the moment, i only have one PC, but i am running 2 clients on it. is there any way to control both clients from one? if someone could please point me in the right direction for the information i need, i would be very greatful.

Such a simple thing like starting multiboxing has plenty of resources to read, just hit up the wiki and the beginner forum and if you still need help hit us up. Multiboxing doesnt take 10mins to get going, expect to spend all night and not be satisfied, starting out new is always a prick.

ive read thru some of the basics for keyclone and autohotkey, i think im starting understand it. gonna have to make a day to just play w/ them and figure it out. thanks for all your help!

Aye nothin wrong with takin yer time to learn it, I came back constantly while I was still getting started to reference the AHK threads and other scattered threads relating to macros and such; I'm still figuring some things out too, Multi-boxing is still an ongoing learning experience, s'what these forums are for, to share and maybe teach others something new even if they're oldbies =)

when using keyclone w/ maximizer, is there a way to set a game controller to one of the windows, and the keyboard mouse to the main? what im trying to do, if possible, is use my nostromos for my 2nd window while using my keyboard and mouse for the main.

also, the $20 reg fee for keyclone, thats a one time thing right?

Work out one thing at a time, to stop yerself getting overwhelmed....

Even if you have 5 accounts... start with 2, get the macros working.... Get the screen resolutions and standard UI's working, then add more as you feel comfortable.

It doesnt need to be perfect to start, just 1 spell, follow and assist gets you going, then add more/get more complex as you go...

Likewise, 4 months or more now and still not 100% happy and sitting in bed at night thinking how I could improve my setup more.....

But good luck and take the time to read/search for what you need and you'll get there.

On a side note my pally friend who I arena with told me "Omg my brother in law mage does PvP with 100% keybinds" "How crazy is that!"

I advised him that mboxing for me relies 100% on keybinds.

He said "yeah, but you just mash 3 or 4 buttons no?"

Nah, I replied, I am running at about 35 keybinds with various modifiers now.... Started with about 4, but as you level you develop more.... Food for thought.
