    Default Screen set up question

First I would like to say hello to all and thanks to those that have written guides/FAQs and what not. Now to my question. After reading the majority of stickied threads I still cant seem to find a direct answer to what I am looking to do, and that is run 2 copies of WoW at the same time with the windows sitting next to each other, split vertically (this is what I wanted to do but if it would look better split horizontally by all means tell me so). I did notice that keyclone has a maximizer option that will allow this but I am hesitant to buy it because I'm not sure how often I will need my keys emulated to the 2nd copy. I wont really know till I start getting some play time in with both characters (its going to be a pally/mage combo AoE tank and AoE DPS seems like a smart 2 boxing choice, but if anyone has tried this and has a different opinion let me know). I will definitely purchase keyclone if I find that I will be needing to emulate the keystrokes more often that I originally thought. And if I did purchase keyclone anyways is there a way to just use the maximizer option and not emulate any of the keys? Well anyways I hope that I explained my situation clearly enough, and if I didn't then I'll answer any questions that may help answer mine. Thanks in advance for any answers/help!

P.S. I don't know if it matters but I have a 19" LCD... not a widescreen or anything.

I think in the long term you will be much better off with getting something like Keyclone as you will find it extemely annoying moving from window to window.

That being said, maximizer is available as a standalone from http://wow.curse.com/downloads/details/146/. You should note however that if you use a resolution ratio other than 4:3, your wow windows may stretch which just looks bad, this is assuming that you want your windows to fill the screen. There is a file in the Root Folder of Wow that I think is called config.wtf or something simular. Edit this in notebad and find the resolution setting. Change it to match half of your resolution. ie, if you are running 1024*768, you would change it to 1024*384 for a top/bottom layout or 512*768 for a left right layout.

Ok thanks for the reply. After thinking about it I will probably just go with keyclone. If anyone has any tips or useful macros for a pally/mage combo please share!!
