Default 8-box RAM issues, please help

Edit: I apologize if this thread/question is in the wrong place.

Background: Hey all. I recently got into multiboxing WoW and overall I have had good experiences. I am currently trying to solve the main issue I have been having the past week or so. I am trying to 8-box WoW along with having discord and 1 stream/vod/video/music tab open in my browser.

    Hardware:

    CPU: Ryzen 7 2700x

    GPU: EVGA Geforce GTX 1080

    RAM: 32GB G.Skill Ripjaws V DDR4 2400

    Motherboard: Asus ROG Strix B350

Problem: My main issue that I am encountering is when I reach about 80% RAM usage of my 32 GB I get an error from WoW that I have run out of memory, when, according to the math I still have around 4-5GB of RAM to use, and if it did utilize that remaining RAM I am confident that the issue would be resolved. Is there anyway you could think of to solve this issue, ideally by having it utilize up to 95-98% of my RAM before crashing?

Conclusion: I am open to any ideas at this point, if I can solve this issue I believe everything else can be overcome relatively easily. Thank you for taking the time to read/respond to this thread and have a great day!

I'm going to have to increase the amount of memory. It was also using 32GB and after the Shadowlands pre patch consumption increased considerably. Each account is consuming 3.5 GB on average and in the Shadowlands areas the trend is getting worse.

I will go up to 48 GB.

    2 x 16
    2 x 8

I guess my confusion comes in with the PC/game not utilizing all the RAM before it crashes. I have my hardware reader open on my second monitor and it crashes around 80% RAM usage, I don't get it. There are multiple GB of RAM left when it gives me the CTD.

I also have this problem. After the pre-patch Shadowlands this crash became common due to lack of memory and there is memory available (4-5 GB). I suspect it was the graphic changes the game received. Before the pre-patch a single client consumed 3 GB ram and now all clients are consuming over 3 GB in Warlors of Draenor, Legion or BfA.

I believe that we will need to increase the amount of RAM as it will no longer be possible to play at the 32 GB limit.

    My Hardware

    Ryzen 7 2700
    32 GB RAM Geil Evo
    RX 580 8 GB
    Motherboard: AB350

Never heard of anyone using 48gb... people use the same brand and equal amount of RAM on each stick. Just make sure its compatible with your motherboard. And get 64 gb RAM (f.ex two kits of 16gb x 2 = 64gb).

If you havent done it, also consider checking out if your gpu, windows and motherboard bios could need updating.

I ran into the same issue as well today. While not my favorite option, I did notice a significant increase in RAM availability running in DX11/DX11 Legacy to hold me over till I save up for my next PC. I've been 8 boxing for a while and upon changing the settings noticed that my alts weren't getting bumped offline from the ram error. Side Note: Running in DX12 and attempting to turn off Triple Buffering also crashes the game.

    Setup

Win 10 Pro (custom minimalist image built in JUL 2020)
    ISBoxer
CPU: i7 4770k 3.5 GHz LGA 1150 (OCed and stable at 4.2 GHz)
    MOBO: MSI G45 Z87 Gaming
    RAM: (32GB) G.Skill 4x8 GB DDR3 2400MHz
GPU: MSI Radeon RX 5700 XT MECH OC 8GB 256-Bit GDDR6

P.S. I'm going to build another gutted Win 10 image as well to see if it frees up more RAM. Unverified but the most recent Win update reportedly caused some memory issues laterally to this issue.

UPDATE (Potential work around): Crashes went away running in DX12 after doing the following.

    1. Have a performance monitor running and recording
    2. In ISBoxer Suite select characters for proposed team and select DX11 or Legacy, save, export
    3. Launch game from Inner Space and deselect Triple Buffering on each client
    4. Go back into ISBoxer Suite and change the DX11s back to DX12, save, export
    5. Relaunch from Inner Space, double check Triple is off (mine was) RAM prior to doing this hovered at 76% with spikes, now hovering at about 67% with occasional sub 80% spikes.
