Default Weird bug with Shift Modifier

It looks like there's a bug in WoW right now where the Right Shift modifier doesn't get respected by the WoW API. Right Shift always gets treated as a Left Shift. ISBoxer by default appears to use Right Shift as the default FTL modifier.

The result of this is that follow breaks on your second slot. If you are on character slot 2 and use your follow me (or really any FTL based key map), the rest of your team will instead follow Slot 1 (Left Shift by default).

The workaround would be to change the FTL modifier for your second slot. This is accomplished by going to your Character Set, click on the second slot, and change the modifiers from Right Shift to another combination not in use. I changed mine to Shift + Alt and that restored follow for that slot.

Official blizzard post, with a full list of affected modifiers: https://us.forums.blizzard.com/en/wo...list/618955/10

Shout out to Psy-crow on Discord for steering me in the direction of where the FTL modifiers live in the team configuration.

Currently, all right-hand side modifiers are affected, and only return as "left."
Do not send me a PM if what you want to talk about isn't absolutely private.

As talking with Altbob last night about this and we found this forum post that is covering this sort of thing in Beta.

I've posted on there so hopefully it will get picked up.

Some interesting changes to multi modifier syntext in there as well but ya, as of right now, lshift and rshift are just being seen as shift.

Soo Jabberie, because of your work you should know better then anyone else here if the change is permanent or a bug.

Should we start making for every Char a /follow macro and ignore the ISBoxer FTL System or wait and maybe WoW will differentiate between left and right Modifiers again? At least that would be future proof ... until Blizz breaks this fundamental macro too ... <.<
