    Default Vendoring straight from mail/crafted

Hey, got this question. Right now was crafting lots of tidespray linen and noticed that it takes quite a long time to collect all of the mail and vendor it, even while using addons to auto-sell and auto pick-mail. Was wondering if it is possible to vendor items straight from mailbox or when theh are being crafted, maybe there is some kind of addon that would do the job? Because it's possible to have both vendor and crafting window opened at the same time, anyone got any ideas?

why would you mail something to be vendored vs vendoring it right away?
2,3,5 boxing wow with Wow Open Box and MAMA, give them a try!

Having bags full of mats and then crafting an item sends them straight to mailbox.

oic (classic doesn't do that) then open the vendor as you craft and vendor instead of the mailbox and sell all as you craft?
(ema and 1 million other addons have auto sell)

probably could write a macro too?

Yea, I was looking for something like that addon, just a bit different. Maybe there is one that scans your bag as you craft and is able to automatically sell, so I just have to spam craft button?

This would fall under automation and is not allowed by Blizzards TOS.

Auto-selling is a gray area for blizzard because the sole purpose is selling contents currently in your bag which you would do so anyway is not automation, just convenience of not having to click manually. Having conditions bound to auto-selling becomes botting as you are doing multiple things without interaction of the player (in your case crafting, and having the addon determine that it needs to sell those items which in term means it has to keep scanning your bags constantly).

You could of course just create a macro that closes the vendor, opens the vendor and put it on a loop on a button click, causing the auto selling to trigger but at that point you are already stretching what is allowed.

while I am the first one to caution about doing stuff like a different action on key up or down or any timer based stuff; anything you can do with an addon is fine (at least until blizzard nerfs the apis used) so no auto vendoring is not at all botting

I am not saying that auto vendoring is botting, I only stated it is a gray area. The rules for Blizzard are clear: 1 key press/mouse click can only result in 1 action. This is why auto selling is a gray area, yes it is allowed but in theory we are already doing more then 1 action for clicking on the vendor. Now I agree with you that so long as the API allows it, use it because it simply makes our lives so much easier.

The point I was trying to make is that what he is requesting is another story. The moment you can press a craft button, and once it is done crafting it is automatically sold to a vendor without interaction of the player, it becomes botting. Hell, if they allow that then the WoW economy would crash because you can abuse the crap out of it. In this case I am not talking about the auto vendoring functionality (because that is triggered on a mouse click), but about the fact that you are doing 1 action, based on another action, without any interaction (crafting -> trigger sale).

Like you said in your previous comment, you can just macro it. Run a script that opens and closes the vendor window, put it on a key and spam it while you are crafting.

put your mats in the bank and they are still usable when crafting.

Use Ebony's EMA addon and set the item you are crafting to be auto sold to the vendor. When your bags are full from crafting just use your vendor mount. You can sell items so fast and clear out your mail like this as long as you have empty bags.

This is how solo crafters do it in mass.

crafting is already a protected api, vendoring is not. what you are saying is plain wrong and doing that has 0 implications on the economy and nothing to do with botting (as again it’s in game addon/macro)
